My new potential boss

After working for more than 4 months with Blue arrow catering and approximately 6 months with Eastern treats, i decided to quit both soon.

Im looking for a full time work during the weekday and free myself during the weekend. Unfortunately, Eastern Treats cant give me what i want. So i have to quit.

While i was walking back home yesterday from Tesco, i saw woon chin taking her break in the subway. Didnt know that she is actually working in subway until yesterday. I have more interest in working in this branch than the one in Hope street coz this is nearer. Before i go, she forced me to take this with me -

Half of the sub long sanwiches. It tasted great. Gam sia woon chin.

And before i forget, thank you Ron for the voucher the other day also. :)

Subway, i will come for you once i have settled everything in the beginning of July. See you then.

Britain's got talent 2008 Semifinalist

Thousands of people have auditioned, hundreds of miles have been travelled, and the three judges have at last picked the final 40 acts.

Piers, Amanda and Simon Cowell in action

Britains Got Talents is getting really exciting, its all down to 40 acts now!!! This year, they are many young talents that managed to secure a place in the semi finals. You must not miss them. And yet, they are some groups/individuals who doesnt deserve a place in the semi finals but they got through, probably this will make the next elimination round easier? lolz.

Looking back at last year, i still like Connie Talbot alot. She is very sweet and she has really got talents in singing. My friend thinks that Paul Pott won due to a big pull of votes from Carphone Warehouse.

Watch this amazing singing from Connie. awwwWww :)

Back to the top 40s, who is your favourite? Who has really got talents to perform infront of the Queen of England and Prince of Wales at this year's Royal Variety Performance, as well as walking away with £100,000 prize money?

Best pick number 1 :

Andrew Johnston

He is a 13 year old school boy who has a really amazing choir voice. Together with his story of being bullied all his life in school for singing such songs, he gets instant sympathy votes. Do you like Andrew?

Best pick number 2 :

Signature

Stunning dance and Surprises? They have them all. The dance was extremely entertaining and the crowds love them so much. Trainee lawyer Suleman Mirza and sidekick Madhu Singh had the crowds continuing cheering when they performed at the auditions. Suleman wowed the crowds with his Michael Jackson impersonation. I am looking forward for their next surprise. How about you?

Best pick number 3 :

Faryl Smith

Can you believe that she is only 12 year old? Nani? What is more unbelievable is her beautiful voice. This nervous 12 year-old took her singing from bedroom rehearsals to the big stage infront of thousands of crowds. Look at what the judges commented about her - Piers said "That is the most amazing thing I've ever seen". Amanda said, "That was breathtaking. I had goosebumps". While Simon said "That was the best I've heard this year", and he told her that "I think you may be special". How far can she go?

Best pick number 4 :

Madonna

She is a single mother from philiphine who came over to United Kingdom to work as a club singer. She has a great voice, and due to her hardship in living, many will definitely cast a sympathy vote for her to fullfill her dreams. What do you think?

Best pick number 5 :

Per Diem

The singing duo Brian and Terry, both are supermarket manager, managed to give a real deep impressions to the judges and the crowd. This is the first group where Simon actually thought that they are so good and stopped them during the middle of the singing. Do you like them?

They are so many more who managed to enter the semi finals, such as Strike who performs extreme martial art, Kate and Gin the funny clever dog, streetdancer George Sampson, Craig Harper singing Boyzone, 10 year old singer Charlie Green, the singing plumber from scotland - Andrew, Dean Wilson and many more.

ITV1’s hit entertainment series, Britain’s Got Talent, will enter the next stage of the competition with the live semi final shows, starting tomorrow - Monday (26th of May). Wow, damn nice we get to watch them every night!!! wooohoOOoo!!

Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals will air on ITV1 at the following times:

Monday 9pm
Tuesday 8.30pm
Wednesday 8.30pm
Thursday 8.30pm
Friday 9pm

Good luck guys!

It is time to exercise

Short note : I always regretted after attending friday's beginner swimming class. The trainer is the same-old-racist-ah-pek. Sienz lorh. Will just ignore him then.

Anyway, i think it is time to get back to the gym, after stopping exercise completely for more than a month already.

How many times of sit up can you do in one min??

If you tell me that you can only barely do ten times in 30 secs, you are unforgiveable!

Take a look at how he do sit up! Dont laugh too loud okei? :p

Kena tagged to do tag post

I was tagged to do this post about a month ago but i just dont have time to do it during my study break. So here i am today, to reveal some of my deep secrets to you guys and to tag some of you to do the same :P

Tagged by Kennychoo.com

The rules:-

1. Link to your tagger and post these rules.
2. List eight (8) random facts about yourself.
3. Tag eight people at the end of this post and list their names.
4. Let them know they’ve been tagged by leaving them a comment on their blogs.

Random fact number 1 : i started ponteng school at the age of 6, and it continued till my university life!!

Anyone can beat me??? I started kindergarten only at the age of 6. It was the second day of my kindergarten school days, my mum decided to leave me alone in the class. I was scared+naughty+hate school and somehow i managed to run away from the kindergarten without the teacher/security guards notice. @_@ When i was about to cross the main road, a pasar aunty recognized me and brought me back to my dad's shop. Thank you auntie for saving my life.

As i grew up, im the decision maker to choose whether to attend class or not to. My dad gave me the full permission to skip class, all he needs to do is to sign an 'absence letter' for me.

Random fact number 2 : i love fishes. They attracted me to steal for the first time :P

Back to the age of 6 again, i always follow my mum to the pasar to eat 'mang jiang kuih' or 'chee cheong fun' one. There was once where we stopped by a stall selling fishes in variable plastic containers. I actually put my hands in and caught some without anyone's notice. I kept them in my pockets. When we reached home later, my mum was shocked to see the DEAD fishes. lolz.

Random fact number 3 : i learnt diving at the age of 8. all because of fishes again.

Maybe it is influences from my dad/cousins, i started to love catching/fishing as i grew up. There was once when we went fishing at taman jaya (the pond near amcorp mall), i jumped into the pond for one yellow fish. I just thought it was so beautiful and it signalled me to jump for it. A malay uncle jumped after me, to save me. Thank you malay uncle for saving my life this time!

Random fact number 4 : at the age of 8, My dad sent me to learn 'self-defence' or rather 'how to fight', kononnya to keep us healthy

You know what, all my siblings and i actually hated taekwondo sooooooooooooo much initially, caused we were forced to go for training. We didnt want it, and i still remembered my bro always cry before/during training because our trainer is very fierce. Look at who he is today.

We were introduced to competition at very young age. As i grew up, i actually love it - Taekwondo has become part of my life. I went through all the process - from zero to something, from something until my peak performance time, and now after the peak time.

Random fact number 5 : I failed to achieve my first dream - of representing Malaysia for an international competition

From being bullied by seniors to ass being kicked during competitions, i actually learnt and improved so much that i managed to win national junior competition in my respective weight category when i was 14. I lost the 50/50 chance to represent malaysia after i lost during the selection later on. And right now, im just too old to do it. I failed to make it to korean open, international juniors open, sea games etc etc. However, im proud to announced that my gym is about 7 and a half years old already. :)

Random fact number 6 : my english sucks big time, my math saves my day.

Frankly, my english might even lose to a 12 year old kid, fullstop. I just hate english. No one force me to do anything about it when i was young. I have realised the importance of it only until my college days, all i can do now is trying to improve by reading and writing. On the other hand, mathematic is always my favourite subject. At times, i might be thinking why didnt i choose something to do with numbers initially, eg. actuarial science? I will make sure my kids excel in both english and math next time. Luckily, the future mother is damn good in english :P

Random fact number 7 : im a super stubborn person.

If you ask me to rate my stubborness, i will rate it a so so. (because human is selfish, we alway try to protect ourselves woot :P) But a close one to me would rate it as 10/10. It can be a good thing, as well as being a bad thing. Nothing much to elaborate, as im trying to protect myself while i am writing this fact :P What do you think?

Random fact number 8 : Im good in sports, but i have zero talent in art and music.

I love sports. Not only that, but i do excel in many of them. (my past. haha :P)Erm speaking of art, i have no interest in it at all. Sorry larh. I cant play any music instrument and i cant sing. I picked up music rather late in my secondary school. But right now, music is essential for my everyday life. Just that.

Okay that is all this time. Here is a list of people that i would like to tag :

1) lou poh zai - spread to your friends k :P

2) cyber-fish - its time to update your blog liao, and since you will be so free till you go ireland.

3) Hui ming - i saw u ciaozing with su an yesterday, but you stil update your blog, i supposed u are stil here in jbc? :P

4) Ming Ying - happie belated burfday, in return, write the post ya!

6) wei thian - update lorh wei. Besides posting about kk, do this post also larh k.

7) Sue choo - I tau you go honeymoon liao, but still, after you come back then you do larh k! haha.

8) last but not least, everyone on my list larh okei?

Manchester United Won Champions League 2008

They are called the KING OF EUROPEANS after last night.

MAN UNITED defeated CHELSEA in Champions League 2008 in moscow last night. Sir Alex Ferguson toasts second Champs League title after Man U succesfully beat Chealsea in a real tight penalty shootout last night.

It was a really close match between the two teams. Damn gan jiong lorh.

"Cristiano Ronaldo gave United the lead with a first-half header before Frank Lampard equalised just before half-time.

Didier Drogba was sent off in the second period of extra-time for slapping Nemanja Vidic in the face after a meaningless spat.

And the drama continued in the penalty shootout when Ronaldo missed and Chelsea captain John Terry stepped up to secure the prize for his side, only to for his foot to slip and push his shot wide.

Victory was finally secured when United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar saved Nicolas Anelka's spot-kick to give United a 6-5 victory on penalties."

source taken from soccernet

Ronaldo was very upset when his penalty was saved by czeth. John terry was even more upset when he missed his. For John terry's case, he blamed himself for the one mistake to have caused Chelsea to lose the Champions League title, he just cant take it. I feel that we cant just put the blame on the one missed.

Being a noob in football, i joined my friends to support Man United throughout the 2hours plus match. And i recorded their reactions during the exciting penalty shootout. Enjoy -

Once again, CONGRATULATIONS to Man U for being the champion in the entire EUROPE.

Hi juniors!!

My unit is selling off nice and good stuff which you really need it for your cooking and whatsoever... Just look at the pictures below...

Rice Cooker!!!

Grater, Chopper, Tongs, wooden spoons, ladle, knives and spatula

Pots and pans, chopping board and plastic containers.
There is a cooking wok too!! Its hidden at the back...

Pots

Pots and pans

The clothing drying stand is very important here.. You can dry your clothes easily by just hanging your clothes at the stand near the heater.. very worth it unless you are willing to pay around 0.60p everytime to dry your clothes...

The small black trolley as you seen above is really useful... You can put your 10-15 kg bag of rice on the trolley and pull it back to your hostel... Unless you are willing to carry or drag your rice bag for 2-3 kilometres from your hostel..

There is a wok too.. Its not easy to find a wok here.. but a wok is really useful here.. its easier to cook than pans... The chopper is useful too.. You need it to chop meat...

This whole set is suitable for 1 UNIT (4 people).... The price for the whole set is 65 pounds.. Pricing is negotiable..

For those that are interested, my name is Edi. Email me at eddyctm@hotmail.com

The reason for ex-robbers to reappear in JBC

I blogged about the threat to jbc - robbers a week ago.

I think there must be a reason for him/them to reappear in JBC.

You tau apa ni karh?

A police officer came yesterday morning, sending official letters to all important witnesses for the first jbc broke-in case back in February.

Erm i "mou fan" larh, but all my 7 friends were asked to attend a prosecution of this broke-in case at the end of this month.

Remember him - Gavin Deans, i tried google him because i thought if i am lucky, i might find a pic of him in bebo or friendster or etc and put it up for our juniors but i failed. To this particular idiot, once you make a mistake, you should face the appropriate punishment. Your friend didnt die after falling from 15m high was fortunate enough. Your 2 friends werent charged was good enough.

Wei, all being invited to be the main witnesses erh!!!!

So of cause, all of us sure get super Excited rite? Even im not one of the witnesses, but im getting very excited too. I can attend a court session in GLASGOW erh!!! and listen to all my friends giving evidence then. laugh at them. and finally blog about it. wahhhhhhhh!

How is it gona be? Is it like those show in the Hk tv series wan arh?

BUT

"Damn. Exams now erh, and how do we go there? It is not the one near glasgow green rite? Nani? @@"

And guess what? This was the FIRST thing that we were interested in :

Ohhh.. Can claim travel expenses wan erh! So we take a deeper look, in a hope that they pay per hourly salary also.

And we found this - A table explaining about the expenses that you can claim for such as Mileage allowances, Snacks and meals allowances and carer expenses.

For example, if you borrow a bicycle from ron, and you cycle there, you will get a rate of 7p x number of miles that you have cycled. Wait, do you know a mile also equals to 1.609344km? Which means, if you cycle 20km far (midvalley to one u), you get to claim 20km divide 1.609344 x 7pence = 86.99 PENCE. and that is not even 1 pound erh dai lou. zha dou rite?

Despite being so excited and all, one good/bad news brought in after ed made a call to the police officer.

The accused idiot has already pleaded guilty, so all of us actually do not need to attend the prosecution anymore lorh. DAMN SaD LARH WEI! such a good chance to see/experience something in glasgow.

Cheeeehhhh.... But good also larh, go in jail for another few more months after this. The reason to explain why we saw him a few days ago might be this - he was bailed out by his parents/friends/other kakis robbers and 1) he brought his friends to the incident place and shared the stupid-robbery-story with his friends or 2) he came with his kakis robbers to look for another oppurtunity to steal things, so that he can get to money to pay for the bail? nani?

Such a big miss for all of us.

What do you think about attending a prosecution/being a witness for the prosecution of a criminal case here in GLASGOW?

Threat - JBC robbers

DENG.

you tell me larh, why on earth would they ever wanna come back to JBC again?

Since the last incidenct of JBC first broke in, nothing bad happen except there was a serious fight last weekend near the library, where it involved death and serious injuries (non-JBC case).

I already damn tulan and sad over my cpp dy larh, why you idiots came back now?

Or mayb they were the same idiots that i was talking about earlier on - those/the one who threw stone at our windows last saturday's night?

Today, we saw them - the 2 thieves who broke-in back in february. 3 of them were doing something very suspicious at the back alley of our unit at about 8.20pm. After less than few minutes of noticing their existence, they walked pass through infront our unit and one bast*rd gave a funny look to pjoo (who is washing the dishes in the kitchen).

Eunice and adeline claimed that there were more than 3 people. There were about 8 in a group. Nani?

WTF ohhh?

What do they want from us??
1) looking for oppurtunity to break in again?
2) revenge?

ANymore possible reasons?
1) looking for old friends in jbc?
2) sharing the 'mistake of falling' with another thief?

F*cking idiots, you should feel fortunate because you didnt die after the fall from pjoo's room.

Damn it. Its our final now and we really need a peaceful enviroment to study.

The weather is getting very hot these days and thus everyone tend to open their windows all day round. Take note of that. Thanks to ky for the point.

Everyone, please be extra careful and inform your friends (esp to the guys staying at the basement and first floor) if you notice their appearance again. we will call the police. tq banyak banyak.

End of exams?

NO!

It is like the end of the world. DENG.

CPP is just damn freaking tough. All i can say is that there was significant difference between a biopharm classtest with a cpp final. You dont see a SINGLE smile from ANYONE after the cpp exam.

HOw to pass cpp? and what was actually so wrong with the paper?
...
i was trying to take a nap just now, owing to the lack of sleep last night, but i failed.
i thought i would at least show my disappointment/anger/sadness here, but i didnt.
After all, we cant give up at any point, 4 more papers to go. Gambateh.

Dont simply throw stone

I took some pictures regarding the incident of 'idiot throwing stone' a few days ago.

That wasnt him. That time all of us were watching football highlights in the living room until we heard a loud 'ping-piang' voice to realise that someone purposely threw a stone at our windows. Then Jian and i went back to check our room. Everything was okay. Later, we realised that the windows in the living room were actually cracked so badly.

I know it is very HOT out there these days.
