Malaysian Dreamgirl Final

The grand final for MDG is just 2 days away from now. It will be held in ONE utama on tuesday and the official results shall be announced at 6.30pm, Malaysia time (which equals to 11.30am glasgow time). The super MDG fans of mine, kenny choo will sure attend this big event wan lorh. And since my soh poh and housemates might be going there as well, so theoretically i shall receive the results on time. LOLZ.

So who will win OhhhhH???

IS it Margaret phua from Phua chu kang's show?

i think Cindy has 50% of chance to win this MDG thing.

Or is it the the muk duk poh, who might follow amber chia's footsteps and win the challenge?

Adeline has almost 0% to win. aiiihz.

And finally, will the winner be the skinny datin of malaysia?

VS

Hanis has the equal chance of 50% to win this MDG. Everybody seem to like her. Mayb because she has really change from picture 2 to picture 1? Voting based on picture number 2 is a big NO NO NO!

And thks to this kenny sia, who posted damn funny pics up on his blog. He is trying to act out the 3 girls as shown below :

So who will win OhhhhH???

Malaysian Dreamgirls final top 6

If you are following Malaysian Dreamgirls closely, you will find out that the coming episodes on thursday and saturday will be the most exciting ones.

From the top 12 malaysian dreamgirls - Jean pulled out, Natasha dont have the ability to be one, Alison was voted out very early in the second week, followed by Valerie and Eyna, who lost the popularity votes and finally Fiqa was shockingly voted out too.

Elimination round took place as usual last thursday but no one is going home.

So be sure to catch on this thurday's episode, because you will definitely be surprised to see another 3 gals going home this episode.

Adeline - Her first appearance during the audition was able to capture the judges's heart and many of us out there. She is 'famous' with her poor 'engrish' command and 'muk duk poh' (a quiet person) was named after her. lolz. She has some potentials to be a model, but if to choose the TOP DREAMGIRL for Malaysia....? erm.........

Cindy - 'WoooooW...' That was the first reaction from kenny sia! She was just so so for me, from the beginning until the show to date. She is very 'FAMOUS' a few weeks back due to some 'Bitching' issues regarding the gals from the dreamhouse. She is also the drama queen for the dreamhouse, and many have claimed that 'dont ever trust what she said'.

And all thks to cindy who passed this secret message form valerie to one of the blogger who visited the house sometime ago :

She was in the bottom 3 last 3 weeks ago, but her dad promised that he will help her to win. That is a very strong word from his dad. If you have read her blog before, you will find out that she comes from a very RICH family and she often request his bro to take her very seductive + sexy pics. -_-" So i will have to say - She got a great chance to win.

Next, Hanis. Suprisingly - she was one of the 2 strongest contestants so far. Looking at her FIRST pic from the top 12 table, she will be the first one that everybody to pick to ask her to 'balik rumah'. But as time goes by, many might have discovered her potentials to be the dreamgirl of malaysia. She is super skinny but she has the height. Some people even like her 'manja' voice. What do you think? No no for me.

Next up, JAY - She is the most famous from the house. Everybody likes her. No complain about her so far, nice and neat. However, she was in the bottom 3 for 2 consecutive week, her supporters will really need to give it a push to make sure that she can stay in the top 3. She has the height, she is skillful, and she has the most experiences in modelling - No surprise if she wins MDG. but you should know well which race dominates in malaysia, rite?

Nadia - I dont understand why she is still in the top 6, despite i dont like her so much!! arghhhHh, or mayb i was wrong? Kenny sia likes her alot. Many have said that she is a very powerful girl, with full confidence all the time. Lets see - she dont have a good look, she dont look unique, she claimed that she is being honest all the while and this might be the reason why people dont vote for for lately, but i think that is called 'rude'. haha no offence ya. Being straight forward can be a good thing, as well as being a disaster if your audiences are being too sensitive.

Last but not least - Ringo from the cheeserland. She is another strongest contestants that i gona talk about. Only hanis and ringo werent in the bottom 3 yet. She did so so all the while and not much gossips about her. She might be cute, but her height is definitely a problem for her to proceed any further in modelling. She has a massive fan due to her popular blog - no surprise if she wins, but come on, TOP DREAMGIRL OF MALAYSIA, HOW CAN ARH?

So stay tune people,

Who is gonna be the top 3 lerh?

Malaysian Dreamgirl

Anyone else still with Malaysian Dreamgirls lately?

Episode 7 and episode 8 have just been uploaded recently. You can watch them here.

There is this blogging contest hosted by nuffnang, and i submitted my entries on Vote for Malaysian Dreamgirls and Malaysian Dreamgirls Updates several weeks ago.

The blog contest winners results are released, and out of my surprise, my first entry have won me pre-loaded rm100 ambank credit card.

"Congratulations!
A hearty congratulations to all the bloggers who won for their blog entry. We have read and appreciate all the blog entries we received. Thank you to all for the invaluable inputs and congratulations once again. Keep on blogging, bloggers! ;-)"

Nani?

From the top 12 malaysian dreamgirls, Jean was the first to pull out before the first elimination round due to her exams.

Next, from the previous round, Natasha was voted out, Alison was voted out too.

So there are top 9 left.

SPOILER AHEAD >> PLEASE WATCH EPISODE 7 & 8 BEFORE YOU READ ON

SPOILER AHEAD >> PLEASE WATCH EPISODE 7 & 8 BEFORE YOU READ ON

Unexpectedly, Valerie is out this time.

Again, Cindy and Eyna were in the bottom 3. However, Valerie has gone home this week.

Nothing from MDG impress me this time, but there was some bitching going on as kenny have said.

Gals can be a very interesting subject, as well as being a very dangerous subject. When come to bitching, they can be so great - talking the bad of each other at the back, and now talking bad COMES LIVE @ MDG ONLINE!

A funny quote from kenny :

"Quote of the week: That "in du poh" (Indian lady)-referring to Alison *so bad*!"

There were alot of hatred among the gals. The very first story began when Ringo made some straight forward comments on her blog - cheeserland. The problem might have settled down at this time and she seems to have some good time getting nicely with the rest, as given the fact that she is the only chinese staying with the 'big gang' right now.

There was interesting comment from shaolintiger -

"As for the politics, there are two bedroom in the house it started off with one of 7 and one of 5, the 7 is now 6 and the 5 has become 2! It was ok in the beginning until one room overheard the other room gossiping about them, since then it's been somewhat divided.

As for the gangs it was Jean, Cindy, Valerie, Adeline and Natasha...now 3 of them are gone it's only left Cindy and Adeline, so they feel a bit left out and Adeline keeps out of it pretty much.

The first target was Ringo for what she wrote on her blog (that all seems to be settled now), the second target was Valerie for various reasons (she's out now) and the current target is Cindy.

Most of it is petty stuff, money, tomatoes, jeans etc..pretty interesting to hear it from their mouths though and also the difference between the stories when you ask two different people about the same 'incident'. "

Another blogger, Wen Qi commented that Cindy actually helped valerie to B*tch about the other gals from the contest. I wonder what they others will feel when the *secret letter* is reveal later on?

"Oh oh!! I also forgotten to add that uhmm.. when we left.. Su Ann was asked by Cindy to pass something to Stewie. It was a letter for all the girls from Valerie after she got eliminated. Ooooh oooooh wtf. I myself do not know what was Cindy's intention of giving us the letter. Weirddddd...."

WALANYEAH!

There will only be ONE winner in the end of the MDG contest. Wouldnt you want to win? It is human's nature to be so selfish at times, to sacrifice friendships, or perhaps to fake that friendship out. Of cause, there are happy moments to be together, but before a decision made by the public to eliminate one contestant each week, you have to perform your best to stand out among the rest! That is the golden rule of competition.

I conducted a very small size (N=35) poll on my blog, lasted for 10 days, and the results came out to side 2 gals out of the top 9's left from the previous week. I doubted my results since it was only a very small size sruvey.

Fiqa and Ringo both shared the top place with 8 votes each out of the total 35 votes.

So what do you think?

Who deserve to win based on my mini poll?

VS

Its left with the Top 8 gals now, one to be the Dreamgirl of Malaysia soon. What are you gonna do with your Rm 1??

To cast a vote or to buy secucuk
of fishball from pasar malam?

Malaysian Dreamgirl Updates

Malaysian Dreamgirl has moved another step further by calling the top 12 girls into the dreamhouse. All of them has a complete make-over by professional stylishs, you can view them here.

VS

Catch the latest 3rd and 4th episodes here.

Di you were right!! Ringo was out initially, but she was chosen to replace one finalist who pulled out due to personal issue.

When Ringo was eliminated during the last audition, she made some really bad comments for the judges as well as other finalists on her blog. "Now I can confirm that they are really blind!! (Or at least their contact lenses expired and grew fungus.) There are a couple of girls whom I think were so totally undeserving actually made it. Like hello, what were the judges thinking?!" source taken from Ringo's blog

The chinese has a really good phrase "做人不要太绝,凡事留一线,日后好相见!"
meaning that "one should not be too cruel, instead try to give in whenever possible, in a hope of getting some benefits out of it!"

For me, it is defintely not wrong for this gal to make comments on her experinece in malaysian dreamgirls but she might have made a biggest mistake by accepting the offer to be one of the top 12 finalist. It is a NONO if you have commented something to be bad, but right now you are exactly into it. "You see, I really am not very happy about the result. I’m not at all disappointed that I didn’t get in, after all I didn’t think I deserve a place in the top 12 since I actually think that the judges were blind when they let me through the first audition." source taken from Ringo's blog

As a result, some of the finalists were not really happy about ringo's return. And what about the judges?

Im afraid that i cannot continue the same flow from my previous post - vote for malaysian dreamgirls. A shocking news revealed yesterday that Jean Fong had withdrew herself from Malaysian Dreamgirl. She said in her facebook that she has chosen to continue to pursue her pharmacy course and to spend more time with her family. "I have chosen to devote more time to my studies and my family... After much deliberation, I have decided to withdraw from the Malaysian Dreamgirl contest. It comes with little heavy heart, but a sense of optimism of my future." source taken from facebook

Shaolintiger, an official blogger to blog about Malaysian Dreamgirl has commented that Jean was the best speaker among the top 12 finalist. Dont you think so too?

However, the most potential winner from the top 12 girls was officially out. OuCCccchHHhhhHH!!!

We cannot judge whether Jean has made the best choice out of the right choices or not. But what we can conclude is that her absence in Malaysian Dreamgirl will definitely be the biggest lost in the show.

On the other hand, kennysia's order of getting the girls to dress up in the sexiest outfit for a photoshoot session has turned them to be more competitive.

"Modelling isnt about selling your body" source taken from kennysia from one of the audition video.

How can it be not?

Source taken from cheeserland

Yes, it is very true that every model need to show off his/her superb body figure in order to secure their place in modelling and hence, advertisers would choose them to display the products.

But what is the limit in the industry of modelling? We cannot draw any conclusion out of it mainly because different individuals see it in different aspects.

Note : Vote for your dreamgirls and show your support by sending sms today!
"Every week models with the lowest votest will get eliminated"
Check the details regarding voting here.

A year ago, my bro joined modelling for at least 6 months during his pre-university at KBU. He was chosen to display smart connection products during the prom night. Spot him here!

But sorry. Im against it! To my wife and future kids, sorry im against it! lolz.

Vote for malaysian dreamgirls

What is your definition for a model? What is your definition for the dreamgirl of Malaysia? What criterias do you look at when you are to judge and choose the top model for Malaysia?

According to wikipedia, A model is a person who poses or displays for purposes of art, fashion, or other products and advertising. Do you agree with this general definition?

Lets meet the judges - kenny, Elaine Daly and Lim Jimmy

For kenny, he thinks that height is not the most important factor. "For me, I think height is not the most important quality a model should have. I reckon as long as you have a sweet and presentable face, you're good to be a model already."

Sometimes, the judges came to one same conclusion, but at times, they have different views on different girls, watch their funny yet realistic judgements at malaysian dreamgirl .

The first two episodes on auditions were out at malaysian dreamgirl. Quickly catch up the first 2 episodes, then make sure you are on time for the next episode - episode 3 about the top 12 finalists will be showed online this thursday, 13th of March.

So, the top 12 finalists for malaysian dreamgirls 2008 are out! There are consist of all kinds of girls, from short to tall, from indian, malay to chinese, from not-so-pretty to pretty. Catch them up at malaysian dreamgirls top 12.

Who do you like the most? Why?

All 12 of them have different good and bad sides. Its now all up to malaysian to judge, to vote, and choose one top model formalaysian dreamgirl .

My judging skills are really bad. I only managed to find the top 5 from the 12 of them. I went through the audition videos. I have tried really hard to decide the top 5 which have the most potentials to become the next top model for Malaysia. And of course, you are free to Agree or Disagree with me.

My top5 regardless of rankings :

Adeline

Cindy

Jean

Ringo

Valerie

Out of the predicted top 5, i will move one step closer and i would like to urge everyone to vote for Jean. She is currently a 3rd year pharmacy student in IMU. If she managed to persuade ALL 3judges to secure herself a place in the top12, i think she should deserve another step ahead by winning the majority vote from the public!

Written by Jean ...

"Jean will be making a public appearance in One Utama Sunday 16 March at noon!

Be there!

To vote for Jean, SMS “DREAM 08” to 33001."

During the star education fair 2008, Jean commented that she joined the competition with open minded. “I am very excited to have got this far as it is my first attempt at modelling” souce taken from thestar online
