I skipped work for something :)

Today was my last day attachment to CDR (cytotoxic drug reconstitution) in HSI (Hospital Sultan Ismail). I had a great day there.

Mr Kv and i had planned a dagei trip since Monday. We asked each other out for dagei since at least 5 months ago and we always never make it. (you see how hard we actually get a chance?) However, our plan was stopped initially because Angela (Hui Hoon, who is the KPF of hospital kota tinggi) came back to HSI. Mr Kv and i decided to join the rest for lunch with Angela instead of dagei, although we both rated eating with Angela (3.5/5.0) and Dagei (5.5/5.0).


After lunch, the gals decided to go to Jusco Tebrau. That was the time when Kv and i headed to cc for our dota game!!!

We went back to work at 2.50pm (just 5mins late only leh), ahem (actually cdr nothing to do during friday afternoon one, especially now is Raya period). I joined the cpd session and grabbed a box of chicky meal (kfc set meal).

After we filled our stomach with kfc, we took our bag and headed back to the same cyber cafe at 4.40pm!

By the way, today is the last day of July according to chinese calender. Happy ending ghost festival!

In terms of card games, i still like poker the most. It is the most exciting game of all. I used to play texas holdem with my housemates, sometimes up to 6 or 7 of us. Each of us will be given some chips and the last man standing with chips will be winner.

Cooking fish for the first time

Remember the post where i ask you guys to guess what was i doing last sunday?

The answer :

This fish was bought in a shop next to the dimsum shop in Chinatown. 2.50 pounds was really a good deal!




Being one who loves catching fish/fishing so-damn-much, i must have known some knowledge regarding the proper ways of disecting a fish and then to make it a dish for dinner. Well, there are actually alot of things that you need to know about cooking fish - eg. Smell, Look, tips. Get them at how to cook fish here.

• Smell it!
  Fresh fish should smell sweet: you should feel that you're standing at the ocean's edge. Any fishy or strong flavors means the fish is past its prime; do not buy it.
  
• Look at it!
  Whole fish should look as they were just pulled from the water; bright eyes and firm flesh are signs of freshness.
  
• Freeze it!
  Fresh fish should be stored in your refrigerator for only a day or two; it's very perishable. Any longer than that, and wrap the fish well in freezer paper and freeze it.

Okay, lets go back to "How to cook the fish" -


1) Firstly, i removed the scales with a knife.



2) Then, cut it open right in the middle. This was the second picture that i showed initially.



3) This was the first picture that i showed you guys! Guess what was i doing again?





4) Now you have came to the cleaning part. Learn "how to clean a fish" or you can follow your grandmother's ways of doing it. Remove all the internal organs from the fish and dont worry when you cut open the fish, it wont go like 'bliakkk', then all the sisa-sisa drop out... No it wont!



5) I need to chop the fish into halve because it was unable to fit into the plate.



6) Next, put alot of ginger slices and add some soy sauce and a little bit of vinegar in it!



7) Besides that, you also need these things to steam itu fish!! Third picture that was previously shown.

Come and Flirt

Eventually, you get to choose who to be the winner, and that is the time i got my Victory Hair. Thus, the winner and you will then enter a personal chatting room for more flirting session. haha! Unfortunately, the guy left right after the game.

An outing for the 4 of us

The weather isnt with us today. The weather has been good all day round when i went out to drop my c.v. It started with dizzling when we first decided to leave jbc and it followed with moderate rain. We have no choice but to take some shelter near queenstreet station.


After about 10mins of waiting, the rain got smaller and we proceed our way to our destination - The Mussel Inn.


We ordered 3 x 1/2 kilos of mussels, with morrocan, blue cheese and shallots flavors, and also a seafood plater to be shared by the 4 of us :

It was still drizzling when we left mussel inn. We were lucky to see rainbow over the building with clock near one buchanan street junction. And of course, we stopped and snapped a few shots before we proceed on to our next destination.




As initially planned, we proceed on to Gala Casino - To grab at least 5 pounds each and to enjoy some free flow of cocktails as a newly registered member.






Everything just went on smooth and nice as planned. In Gala, everything was F.A.S.T!!!


The registration was FAST! It only takes you less than 3 minutes to fill in your personal details. Malaysian driving license or passport is valid for age verification. After registration, immediately, i was given a member card and a 10 pounds roulette voucher.




Then we proceed on to the gambling area at the basement. I can say that it was quite normal last night. At least, you see some people playing at each table. Blackjack, pokers, texas or roulette. Initially, i was told that it was really quiet even during a busy friday night.


After wandering around for quite sometime, looking at how people place their bet, finally we proceed forward to place our bet with our 40 pounds of vouchers. In the end, we won some chips which are to be changed into real money later on. I bet many of you already figure out the way to get the 'confirmed 5 pounds' from Gala. :P




We were told that we can get complimentary cocktails FOC also. So, we went on and ordered one cocktail each and snapped some shots INSIDE the casino before we leave.
