Many of you should be aware that the oral list will be out this friday. DAMN SCARY!


You will be called for oral examination for any of the following reasons :
1) you failed any of your exam (exclude pp3)
2) the Board Mark falls in a band of 1% below any award classification band i.e. 69%, 59%, 49%


According to seniors, you will be questioned by 3 different lecturers, covering what we have learnt for 4 years. Yes, they will be questioning us regarding exam-type of questions also!!! -________-" Results are normally release after oral examination.

Anyone know the exact way to calculate CMA?

If we follow the one written in the student's handbook, that means what seniors told me were bullshit. They said if you get high marks for pharm care and research project, you will be able to get a distinction. But how high is consider high? Theoretically, if you get 70 and above, it is gona help you pull up your CMA, but if you get below 70, means it is going to pull down your CMA. So means, if you want to get distinction, both subjects must be higher than 75, if you want to get merit, both need to be over 65 etc...


And i try again and again, it seems really hard to reach my target.

Finally handed up my research project this morning, or perhaps, waited for the queue for so long that i actually handed my PRECIOUS reports in at noon.



Crazy larh this final year project.



But at least, as the name said, its the final year punya project, FINAL project for my entire life.



my efforts = long hours infront of the comp. not too bad larh, just the final night i slept merely 4 hours. @___@

There is a good news on pegasus that timetable for pp3 and dds has been swapped. Which means we will be sitting dds a week earlier and sit for pp3 last (only applicable to minority of ppl lur, SOBS!).

Lunch @ Rumours with angelic Blair and Rachel

Rumous - A malaysian style cafe, it is said to be opened by the sister of Asian style's owner. Known to serve great food, everybody just want to have a taste of it. Or is it just a rumour?

We decided to give our supervisors a treat since they helped us alot during the 2 wks long lab session. We, the modellers finally arrived @ Rumours on 26th March with Blair and Rachel. Mel didnt turn out due to gastritis. And the devil-ish Simon ffk too, kononnya ada meeting last minute worh. @_@

Something unexpected happened when we arrived.

Not because got bouncers standing outside like this larh!

Darren and I made the booking last saturday and they denied it. My name was written on the booking list but she claimed that she didnt write it to Darren. It was so packed at that peak hour. We have no choice but to wait. Blair and Rachel took the chance to go lepak then.

Darren was dragged out by the 2 bouncers then. He replied : "Wo dou bu zhi dao???"

We stood there for almost 45 mins before there were enough empty seats to fit the 14 of us! yes 14 of us!

Everyone of us ordered the lunch set @ 6.50 pounds. KONONnya 3 course lunchtime special - including a starter, main meal and a coffee/tea.

You will never guess the price correctly. How about take a wild guess of a piece of roti canai in Ringgit Malaysia?

I have a taste of both chicken satay and half a piece of roti canai. WaLAOYeah! I WanT those taste!!! taste AWESOME! :)

Next, move on to main course - Wat Tan Hor, Nasi Lemak, Char Kuay Teow and many more.

DISAPPOINTMENT!

DENG! Im very disappointed with the portion size paid with this price. I was told that they serve very big serving and their food taste like heaven. But it was so wrong!

We ordered a plate of Rojak and 2 cups of Pearl Tea for Blair and Rachel too.

When we noticed that they only take A FEW SIPs of the pearl tea and they left almost the whole cup untouched in the end, we felt damn SAM TONG. DAI LOU, 2.50 pounds/cup erh!!

You should seriously understand why guys were complaining about the portion size. This is what i call big portion.

You will never know HOW LITTLE they were until you touch them with your chopsticks!!


Later on, we realised that the initial BIG portion was meant for dinner, i.e. a normal meal, BUT NOT FOR SET LUNCH.


The prices are similar WITH MALAYSIAN food back in Malaysia, just that they are all in pounds now.

1 keping of Roti Canai = 2pounds = Rm 12.80 WTFFF hor??

1 piece of Egg with sambal = 3.80pounds = rm 24.30 WTTFFFx2????

And guess what? Despite all the bad comments for Rumours - long wait, small portion sizes, bad attitudes of the waiters (comments from gals), we received a 20% discounts in the end. They finally admitted that it was their mistake in booking and so they gave us this special discount. 22 pounds less erh!!! not bad not bad :P

Introducing to you - Canadian Lobster

While i was cooking my pasta, i saw a big empty box labelled - Whole Canadian LOBSTER.

Oimeh!!? So i thought to myself. "Hmm, is it vyeaw who bought it? Or is it Sjian who bought it?"

So i continued to kepoh a little bit more about it by asking hsheong lorh. And when i opened the fridge later on, i saw this HUGE-adorable-and-look-yummy LOBSTER!

Taaaadeng.....

I remembered i saw this big lobster from jocelyn's blog before, but today i saw it in the fridge of my own unit! Wooohooooo~




Wowww... look at that - Uncle Lim raised his arm to show a victory sign "im not gg-ied, yet!" :)

Take a closer look at the big monster, to be gg-ied...

And we realised that his left arm was bigger than the left arm by a few inches. Is he left-handed? or is he just an abnormal lobster? opps!

I have no idea where to get them, yet. But i have made a deal with my sah poh that i will cook her lobster if she promised to.... :)

Im not kidding and i guessed everyone should have realised that the lecture this coming friday will be the LAST lecture for the ENTIRE pharmacy course!!!!!!!!!

OMGGGGGGGGG!!!

Yes, it is already 3 years and a month since we entered IMU in Feb 2005.

AND now im talking about the LAST lecture for the entire pharmacy course? pengsan + TATTTEF symptoms - tachycardia all the time till exams finish symptoms.

On the other hand, p106 juniors will be entering their FINAl week (4days of eos exams) from next monday onwards; which means, they are calling an end for sem5 too!!!
