The famous beef noodles at petaling street

The name of the shop is called Shin Kee Beef noodles. It is located one of the junction of petaling street. The address is 7A, Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Kuala Lumpur.



The normal one is priced at RM 6 per bowl (both soup or dry), with additional beef balls priced at RM 8 per bowl. You can opt to have only beef slices, only beef balls or a mix of sliced beef, beef balls and tripe.


There shudn't be any reason for you to reject the best beef nooodles from petaling street unless if you dont eat beef! It is a must try if you havent tried it.

Best prawn mee in PJ

A few days ago, i brought my grandparents for breakfast in Mee Yoke Lim, SS2. It is very famous for prawn mee and spicy wantan mee.


The best prawn mee in PJ - very thick soup, some prawns and some taugeh and kangkung, plus deep fried onions and sambal to make the prawn mee perfect.



I love eating prawn mee. In glasgow, i tried once in Rumours for the price of 7.50 pounds (equivalent to RM 45 with conversion rate of 1 GBP to RM 6). Now the bowl of prawn mee pictured above, priced at RM 4 can already satisfy me.


Next, Chee Cheong Fun priced at RM 0.70 per piece. It was not bad.




Also, if you like noodle soup, you can try the pork meatballs noodle soup.




The shop is in Chao Yang, SS 2. Give it a try if you have a chance.

PJ Yong Tau Fu

It has been a few years back since i last had yong tau fu. So today, carol, ellie, mum and i went to A3 yong tau fu in PJ for dinner.


There are at least 13 different types of yong tau fu. The fried wantan is a must thing to eat.





I was shocked to see the prices of yong tau fu. They were priced at 0.95 cents/piece. Last time is 60 cents/piece, right?


Anyway, we went on ordering 2 plates of chee cheong fun and a ikan kembong.

It was a very delicious meal. The best meal i had since i came back to malaysia 2 weeks ago.

Dim Sum session in malaysia

DIM SUM - I have been craving for them since i reached Glasgow last year. In total, I had dim sum twice oversea, once in Glasgow Chinatown and another time in Manchester. The dim sum session i had in Manchester was superb.

The next morning of my arrival to Malaysia, my bro decided to treat the 5 siblings with dim sum. It was a catch up session for the 5 of us since i have not met my 3 sis for almost 18 months.












The dim sum was nice, with reasonable price and good customer service.

Dinner @ TGI Friday's

22 months ago, in Malaysia, i dined in TGI Friday's for the first time. The food was good. The service was good too. Everthing was great.








That was the time when my sah poh and i celebrated our first month anniversary.





Lauweeyeaw is the person to thank for recommending TGI Friday's to me.


22 months later from 30 dec 2007, i dined in TGI Friday's (glasgow) again. This time, we got ourselves well prepared before attending the dinner. We checked the TGI Friday's website, chose the right meals and made booking for it. Check out TGI Friday's menu here.


I think it is a good idea to take the 'take 2 for 9.99pounds' menu. It is a good deal, isn't it?




And yeah, so we ordered two of the 'take 2 for 9.99pounds' menu. One with appertiser and another one with a dessert.


Oreo milkshake priced at 2.49 pounds
Highly recommended by ss queen, but it tasted so so nia for me.


JACK DANIEL'S ® SESAME CHICKEN STRIPS
Generous portions of crispy chicken strips enough for 2, very nice!!


HALF RACK SOUTHERN SWEET RIBS
Succulent baby back pork ribs with crispy onions and corns. Tasted good.


CAJUN-SPICED CHICKEN QUESADILLA
Chargilled chicken and pepper in tortillas served with rice. Erm, not nice lorh.


DIRT CAKE
A chocolate brownie sponge base, with marshmallows and Oreos® cookies. Tasted good.

TGI Friday's - A very highly recommended place to dine for two. They did it again, everything was great - We both like the place + dinner very much!!

Dinner @ Thai Lemon Grass

THAI LEMON GRASS restaurant - Winner of the Best Newcomer 2003, Edinburgh (The List)


And there is one in Renfrew Street, Glasgow.






The interior design of the restaurant is very beautiful. Be sure to make advance booking if you are going in a group.




The first time we went there was 2 months ago. We ordered Tom Yam with chicken, Thai green curry and Stir Fried beef with oyster sauce.




The TomYam was good. Stir Fried beef was alright, more or less like the chinese style food. But the Green Curry SUCKS man!!! Tooooooo much of coconut milk.




Then we went there for the second time.




This time, we had 2 bowls of steamed fragant rice with Deep Fried Sea Bass and TomYam soup.




My sah poh...
