Lately, there has been alot of baking going on in G5.
The lucky me not only get to taste them, but also get to involve in baking them.
This is gonna be the very first recipe post and i hope i will post more in future.
Okay, back to the topic, here are the ingredients that you need :
Brownies :
1) 226g (8 oz) butter, melted
2) Scarcely 1 cup castor sugar
3) 1 cup all-purpose flour
4) 2/3 cup cocoa powder
5) 1/2 tsp baking powder
6) 2 eggs
7) 1/2 cup milk/kahlua/bailey'
9) 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instruction :
1) Preheat oven to 250F/180 degree celcius. Grease the baking pan with some butter.
2) Sift flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together. (optional)
3) Whisk butter and sugar. In a bowl, beat eggs lightly with vanilla extract, whisk into butter mixture.
4) Whisk in dry ingredients in 3 parts, altering with the milk. DONT OVERMIX the dry ingredients.
5) Bake for 40 minutes or until the ides begin to pull away from the sides of the pan.
p/s : we didnt have Bailey or Kahlua, so we used milk. It should look something like this.
Fudge topping :
1/3 cup condensed milk/milk
75 g semisweet choc
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instruction :
In a sauce pan, melt chocolate. Whisk condensed milk and vanilla extract until mooth. Immediately spread over cooked brownies
p/s : we melted some cadbury chocolate last minute to make the chocolate topping.
