We must decide what the outcomes we desire in order to start taking actions.
When we focus on what we want, we get the power to act.
Every successful people know exactly what they want. The first step is to decide what their goals are. But most people doesnt know clearly what they want in life. You often hear people say "i dont know what i want, it is not the time to decide yet". or they know what they want, but they dont take action.
Number two, get yourself to take action! How do you begin? Decision is your key power to act. When you clearly have strong desire, you will begin to take action.
Successful people fail more than anybody else. Average people are afraid of the fear of failure and the fear of rejection.
What about you? What do you do when you fail? when you fall down? when you encounter problems that slow you down from where you intended to go? Do you aware that failure can be your best friend? As long as you learn something out of it, there is no failure in it.
Number 3, notice the outcomes from your action. Take note of what is working and what is not working. Remember flexibility is power - you can always change your approach to obtain your goals. When something does not work, try something else.
How long does it take for an average baby to learn walking?
What do you say to the baby when he falls?
What happen if he fail again and again?
Number 4, use role modelling to accelerate you to achieve your goal. If you want to become the top taekwondo exponent, model exactly what the top taekwondo exponents out there are doing. Model their training, model their mindsed and model their physiology!
I cant agree more with my uncle's mantra to achieve goals in life ---> "decision, planning, execution, follow-thru and finally evaluate, learn and improve"!
