CRAZY flight deal from Ryanair!

I booked my flight to Paris last saturday and booked the flight to italy last night. Tonight, i just couldnt resist the last minute crazy deal, which ends this midnight (kononnya), so i ended up booking a trip to ireland.

And guess how much was the fare?

1 pound per person including tax and all charges!

But still have to pay 4 pounds for credit card charge so ended up paying 5 pounds per person to fly to Belfast city, Ireland.

1 euro per person from Dublin back to Glasgow.

And 5 euros for credit card charge so 6 euros for the flight ticket.

In total, i pay 5 pounds + 6 euros to catch a return flight from glasgow to ireland. :)

So u think you can fly from KL to Kota Kinabalu with just 5 pounds + 6 euros or less? I doubt so...

ADV - Benefits of camping tour

The weather is good these days for the europeans. They love sun. It is the best time for them to go around europe or else where in the world for some break with the family.

I am on my way planning some trips for september break too! So i went to enquire information and details regarding touring Europe with some tour agency. I was given 2 options - a) to go with a normal tour or b) to go with camping tour.

The prices for an ordinary package holiday tour is way to expensive at this peak season! So i asked more details regarding the other options - to go with camping tour. Of course, there are a few benefits by going camping tour over traditional package holidays. Camping Europe is your choice if you are all about living it up on a budget! It helps to save money - everybody want to save money and gain maximum sights from a trip, so why not? Next, you will also get to experience life on the continent while enjoying the nature at some of the Europe's famous camping sites. You will be staying in a twin share tents if you wish, easily put up and put down. How about the food? Well, camping does not mean that you will solely depends on can food to survice, right? Swimming pools, warm showers plus lively nightlife, if these are the elements you are looking for, then camping tour is going to be your choice.

With all these benefits, i might considere a camping tour over traditional holiday package. What do you think?

So you think Malaysia is hot?

I thought A Hot Summer should link with some hot chicks like a poster shown below :

But that is not the case, the only thing that is HOT right now is the weather.

Today glasgow is freaking HOT wei!!! Dont you agree with me?

It gave me the feeling of walking around in malaysia. You can see many ang mohs (male) just walk around without wearing their tops. And the gals are wearing extremely little too.

It has been extremely hot weather (in glasgow) in the past few days. And today was at the extreme.

I know the fact that Malaysia is much hotter than glasgow and the main thing that each and every one of us to complain about malaysia is the HOT WEATHER. But glasgow is seriously hot the past few days!! How is the weather in Malaysia now?

The only cure to hot weather is to soak yourself in an indoor swimming pool, with air-conditioned.

That might not be the only way. Maybe you should have a cold drink plus some lovely icecream like this.

Weekend is calling for an end really soon. 2 more hours to midnight. Tomorrow need to work again. Hurraaaaaay. Wait....No... deng! damn it!

Some updates on my job

Min Tien Ding - A pharmacist to be chose to stay in UK for several more months rather than go back malaysia and register with the board of pharmacy so that he can go travel around EU with his loved one.

Subway didnt call me on friday morning. So, i will still be working for Morgan Stanley for the coming few weeks, happy to say that.

My mum was really shocked when i told her that i spent approximately rm200 weekly just for transport to morgan stanley. So that is gona make up rm 800 a month no? How do i survice?

I am recently working in a canteen (Morgan Stanley) in this big credit card customer service company - GoldFish.

GoldFish memang got 2 goldfish as the logo wan lerh.

And there is actually a very nice view from the main gate.

It is just a moderate size canteen. It can accomodate approximate 110 customers. Goldfish has around 1k people, each day, 800 will come to the canteen and get their food at different time. The peak time is at 12 noon to 2pm.

Okay, lets forget about my canteen. I will find a time to snap some pictures of the servery area, the store room, the walk-in fridge, the kitchen, the toilet and blah blah blah next time. hehe.

Now, lets take a look at the meal i had each day.

For the past 2 weeks, i had been taking scottish breakfast every morning. They are nice, especially hash brown and bacon.

Harsh brown, bacon on cheese toast, baked beans + a cup of choco milk.

I dont have a big appetite in the morning. Or rather, i need to save my tummy for the big meal in the afternoon.

A link sausage, grated cheese+bacon with bun, scrambled eggs and a cup of cafe au lait. Simple huh?

Croissant, square sausage, harsh brown, 2slices of bacon, baked beans and poached eggs.

Then one day, i purposely went to pick up a black pudding to make my breakfast look nice like this.

I had black pudding a year ago in Hewlett packard punya canteen. It looked very jeng but it tasted sucky for me!! (the round thingy in black) I tried again, but still, i dont like them.

Accoring to wikipedia, "Black pudding or (less often) blood pudding is a British English term for sausage made by cooking blood with a filler until it is thick enough to congeal when cooled. It is also called blood sausage."

So lets just forget about black pudding. I WONT TAKE THEM ANYMORE. haha. I had some mixed fruits for the past 2 days. And out of all types of coffee, i like mocha the most.

Maybe one day i should try to be naughty and pick up as many variety of food as possible to make up a Full English Breakfast Meal like this?

A full English breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, black pudding, mushrooms, baked beans, hash browns, and half a tomato

Next, my lunch was good each day. They will be 3 or 4 main dishes to choose from. I would love to try as many dishes as possible, but i dont really fancy scottish meal. I can have one main meal for my daily lunch.

Macaroni cheese + carrots + green peas - super cheesy and quite salty, NICE!

Deep fried goujons (fish) with chef own tartar sauce and lemon wedge + chips + broccoli + roast potatoes - tasted not bad!

The bbq day - Beef burger + bbq drumstick + sausage + fruit punch + mixed fruit - Fan-tas-tic!

Roast loin of pork carvery + broccoli + roast potatoes + apple sauce (nani?) + gravy - Hmm, i dont like the pork carvery.

Chicken satay + stir fried veg + rice + some green peas - Mmm dim larh chef! -_-"

Breaded haddock + chips + green peas + mashed potatoes - an ordinary fish and chips, quite good!

Crispy chicken + sald wraps - Thumbs up!!!! good job chef! i love it.

Burger day - Peppered beef + bacon + cheese + salads + Curly fries - Yippeee, i love it very much! very jeng!

Roast beef carvery + yorkshire + green peas + cauliflower + roast potatoes - NOT NICE. i think i shudnt choose carvery over macaroni cheese liao!

That is all about the food. The job was really simple - walk walk walk walk walk around and make sure everything is filled up, everywhere is clean, talk and greet the customers, chat with your supervisor, say more chips please to your chef...

I replied my mum : i work 40 hours each week. Each hour 5.52 pounds. 5.52 x 6.5 - rm800 - alot of taxes = G.G.

Nolarh just kidding. My mum wouldnt know what is G.G actually. My saturday night is going to end with Exorcist 1973...

Welcome my weekend!

Everything went very smooth. I worked 40 hours last week and i worked 39 hours this week. GG.

By putting urself into full time job, time passes superbly FAST. Seriously, no kidding. A week has gone just like that. chi sin one. Full time work is not easy. Right now, I remember how i greet the customers each morning, how i do the canteen work, how to get my butt off the bed at 7.15am each morning, how to avoid missing bus or train, how to save money, but nothing about drug interaction, mechanism of drug, drug approach - GG.

So what is up for the weekend :

I wanna teman my lou poh more.

I wanna dagei more.

I wanna skype with my parents tomorrow.

I wanna have some good rest during my only 2days break.

I wanna download dvd version punya The dark knight 2008 and watch it asap.

P/s : im not ready to be a pharmacist, yet! lolz.

Grab a ticket to Man United

Manchester United team managed to grab both champions league and premier league trophies just couple of months ago. The glory moments were strongly captured in my head.

I have always wanted to take a day tour to Manchester. Not only i get to tour around , i also get to eat good food (especially dim sum). Besides that, I would definitely like to pay a visit to the Old Trafford stadium.

Many of my friends are die-hard fans of Manchester United. Do you know that 2008/2009third qualifying round is on the 1st of August? 2 weeks after that will be a big match between Manchester and Newcastle. How about getting Manchester United Tickets earlier before it is too late!

Super cheap flight

Ryan air is currently giving out some super good deals!! The offer will end this midnight.

The lowest fare was at 1 pounds including taxes and all, but restricted to some cacat punya places like Aarhus, Oslos, Gothenburg City. But wait, you only need to pay 1 pound to Stockholm also. And they are many many many more crazy deals around europe.

Maybe i am too NOOB in all these. These days, credit card company are making alot of money and they charged 4 pounds per person per flight for making any booking. And you know what, i pay 36 pounds in total for 2 person to fly to paris from glasgow prestwick, of which 16 is credit card charges for booking. -_-" Anyhow, still a good bargain huh?

Any good recommendation of places to stay in Paris, anyone?

Thanks a zillion :)

Say good luck to me!

I remembered i wrote a post on my new-potential-part=time-job-punya-boss in the end of May. And tomorrow will be the day for me to face it.

I got a nice job from BA - working as general assitant in Goldfish. Right now, Goldfish desperately needs me to work there for them for the next couple of weeks. Good but not great.

I will be attending a job interview with subway from glasford street tomorrow at 5.30pm. Goldfish let me off an hour earlier to attend this interview. I told them the truth somemore. -_-"

So wish me luck. I want to be a sanwhich artist for the next couple of months before i go back and officially becomes a registered pharmacist!

PureSport sports drink

I used to be very active in sports. On one day, you see me joining a charity run and on another day, you will see me fighting in a ring. You can see BOXES of sports drinks like Isomax, 100 plus or Gathorade if you pay a visit to my house. Each box will be finished by a few weeks. So why do i need so much of them?

I used to drink at least 2 cans of Isomax each week, one on tuesday and one on saturday. I drink them to refresh my energy after a strenous taekwondo class. I have been constantly addicted to sport drinks.

Are they really good? Well, it is all depends on what you expect. When you have reach a certain level, you will always expecting something more. Power bar or power gel might do the job. But for world class swimmer like Michael Phelps, he depends on PureSport Workout and Recovery sports drink with protein as his main choice of sport drink.

Michael Phelps was named the World Swimmer of the Year in 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007. He successfully achieved 6 golds in Olympics in Athens in year 2004. He claims that the two types of drinks from PureSport actually help him alot during his training. PureSport Workout sports drink gives him energy and power to stay up for his 5 hour daily training, where as PureSport Recovery sports drink keep him refreshed and mentally alert after each training session.

Together we fight Alzheimer disease

After spending 4 years studying pharmacy course, I have learnt and became more aware of any important precaution to take to combat any one disease.

Alzheimer is a disease that is related to the progressive reduction in cognitive function, mainly due to disease or damage to the brain, beyond what is normally happening from aging.

Our parents are at risk. Researches showed that it affected most individuals over age of 65.

Are you aware of all these things?

Well, if you are living in the United State, there is something that you can do!

Lets join the Alzheimer's Memory Walk to raise awareness about the disease. It also serves to raise funds for support and care for alzheimer patients around the world.

There will be alot of charity walk going on around 600 communities. Each charity walk will be 2-3miles long, which will be held in on weekend during the fall.

Remember that there is a purpose for any of us to join the walk - we want to save all the alzheimer patients or better still, to prevent one from getting alzheimer. Lets keep moving as the caption of the charity walk said "Together, we can MOVE a nation."

A busy day

Yesterday, I was told that tomorrow is going to be a busy day for morgan stanley.

They have this BBQ session for the staffs. Free flow of food for EVERYONE from 11am-4.30pm. It is thought to be a very busy day. All staffs were in today. Not only that, 2 extra chefs plus 2 extra staffs were hired from BA to work here also.

I was really lucky to be here today as they only have this bbq once a year.

So what do you normally see on a beach party, according to the banner?

Of course, the very first thing that comes to your mind must be a coconut tree.

Then there should be some coconuts from the coconut trees lorh.

Next, you will also see some pretty gals wearing sexy traditional costumes like this.

And, you are going to see the guys dressing up as sakai also.

Last but not least, how can you forget about the sei gau?

Did you see one near the beach? No? The one above spotted in jbc. lolz.

Okay, lets get back to the bbq party.

There were 3 stations loaded with bbq foods outside the canteen.

Then there were some salads, pastas, dunno-wat-rice and mixed fruits in the canteen servery.

And also some fruit punch and some diluted fruit juice.

Basically, it is like a buffet-style bbq session. What we did was just to stand there, watching them pick up their food, and help to refill whatever that is running low. Actually it was NOT BUSY AT ALL. Felt more sienz than the normal days.

But i had a great lunch today - a beef burger + sausage + drumstick + coleslaw + some mixed vege + a cup of mixed fruits and a cup of fruit punch.

And the great news after all was that robert text me this morning asking me to work for Morgan stanley for the following week. What do you think? Deal or Mou deal?

Hot news in Malaysia - Anwar Ibrahim Debating against Ahmad Shabery Cheek

Try to call back and ask your parents what were they doing at 9pm last night?
99% of the chances of answer will be - staying infron of the tv, watching the hot debate.

TODAY DAMN HAPPENING IN MALAYSIA LORH, HOT NEWS. (Amat 'happening', hangat berita in malaysia)

There is this interesting fuel prices debate between Information Minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek and Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The one-hour debate, entitle Hari ini membentuk kerajaan, esok turun harga minyak (“Today we form the Government, tomorrow the fuel prices will go down)

I find it really interesting to watch the debate. It is up to us, the rakyat, who decides which leader to support.

Part 1

Anwar started off by promising that he will help the public by reducing the oil prices by 50 cents by tomorrow. I think that is what the majority hoping for - to reduce petrol prices. Isnt that great? But to say and to do is totally 2 different thingss. He suggested to take 2 billions from Petronas, then another 3 billions from elsewherer to cover the reduction in petrol prices...

On the other hand, Shabery mentioned that the inflation faced today is not dependend alone on fuel prices, and it happens elsewhere around the world. He then started to crap about the history of big petrol company and so on. Stop that, Ahmad.

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4

You can easily find the other related parts from youtube.

The conclusion is that Anwar will get part of the support from the rakyat, like us. However, the government wouldnt let him off so easily. He is charged right now, where he will be arrested if he doesnt show himself at the Kuala Lumpur headquarter tomorrow to have his statement recorded on the sodomy allegation against him.

What do you think?

Working in Morgan Stanley

After almost 3 full months of not working, i forced myself to get up and go to breakfast club of Blue Arrow, hoping to get a job for the week.

When was the last time i worked for BA? (31 december, 2007)

I was fired long ago by BA.

Initially, i told myself that i wont go back BA dy. The reason - you get very random jobs, random time, random place, everyting is AR (all random). Thus, I chose the easier job - Eastern Treats. However, they do provide REALLY GOOD JOB like the time during new year's eve.

I thought that i could get myself a full time weekday (mon-fri) job easily. But hell no, i dropped so many C.V. and application forms (peckhams, many many subway, McD, KFC, many food outlets in St.Enoch and JJB, and almost none come back (the only one reply from an email asking me to work in a subway near hamilton, which is almost 45mins drive from here).

So i was wrong. I chose to go back BA. My working status was resumed by Rob last friday. It was drizzling this morning when i left jbc. I managed to get myself to BA on time.

Im really glad when Rob asked me to work for Morgan Stanley for the entire week. I know that place - Mr Lau has been praising that place! This place is like the heaven days i worked last year in Hp!!!

You will eventually figure out why when i show you some picture :

1) I get paid for taking a 15mins break, while enjoying some scottish breakfast.

2) My job is simple - General Assistant. Basically, i do many things. In the morning, everything is self-service. So i just need to make sure that all the paper cups, napkins, lids, salt, peppers and drinks in the fridge are filled, as well as cleaning the table from time to time.

3) I will have really good food for lunch each day. Today, there are turkey carvery, pasta with chicken and meat or haddock with vege and tiger prawns to choose from.

4) You think the canteen is very busy huh?

The answer is no. 3 people working in the canteen to serve the customer are more than enough actually, but we have 5!

But there is a bad thing about Morgan Stanley. The transportation fees cost freaking hell ALOT!

Seriously wei, i need to pay 6 pounds daily for the transportation fees. Before Rob reminded me with his math (5.52x8x5 - transportation fees), i already said OKAY for the job, because i know the nett amount (easy job, great food, nice people, good pay for a week) that i could earn better than him. I like working as Customer Service/general assistant.

When do you see Posh smile?

It is really rare to see Victoria Beckham (Posh) smile.

I thought she is really hot when she gives a wee smile, plus her perfect bob hair style.

Out of the 10 pictures shown below, you only see her smile once!

So what is the reason behind it?

her personality.

And what makes her smile?

There was once where she finally smiles while promoting her 'dVb by Victoria Beckham' denim and sunglasses collections at Saks, reported from dailymail.co.uk.

Finally, Do yo agree with the statement that :

"A lot of women don't like Posh because she had serious plastic surgery, weighs 95 lbs. and is married to David Beckham -- but that's why men love her!"

Eason Chan - K ge zhi wang

Been listening to some cantonese pop (Hacken Lee, Eason Chan) these few days.

My big day - Graduation day

Wearing the kilt is fun, but the whole process took 2 person to help me and it took 20 minutes to wear them on. Thanks for helping me! (jian, hs n sm)

This graduation costed us freaking alot of money okay. First was 15 pounds of registration fees. Then 34 pounds of gown hiring fees. Then 45.60 pounds of kilt rental fees. Next, 10 pounds to buy academic transcript and finally 15 pounds to buy a graduation photo. (both are optional though)

We had the graduation ceremony in the Barony Hall. The place was nice and everything went on smootly - On time. We were seated according to Mpharm degree classes, namely distinction, merit and pass.

When our names are called, each of us will have to go up to the stage, knelt down for the professor to wear the hat (for merely 2 secs), proceed on, then another professor will wear the robe for us. The whole process took less than 10 secs for one person.

The complete video during the ceremony can be viewed here.
Look for me - 30 june 3pm, specific time, 25.32 - 25.42

AFTER THE CEREMONY :

Congratulation!! WE finally achieved our cert, which costed us more than

And this is my bro, Zhuon - proudly and happily present the EXPENSIVE cert to me.

The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 Cups of Coffee

I received this from an email, for those who hasnt read this story before, read on till the end, and pass it on.

When things in your lives seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front
of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty
mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the
students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar.
He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the
golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They
agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of
course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar
was full. The students responded with an unanimous "yes."

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and
poured the entire contents into the ja! r effect ively filling the empty
space between the sand. The students laughed.

"Now," said the professor as the laughter subsided, "I want you to
recognize that this jar represents your life.

The golf balls are the important things--your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions--and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and
your car.

The sand is everything else--the small stuff. "If you put the sand into the
jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf
balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the
small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to
you.

"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first--the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee
represented. The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked.
It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

This reminds me of the yum cha session we had here in glasgow. Who say here dont have mamak? WE MADE OUR OWN LARH! Those sessions were more like those 'blow water' sessions. They alway happened at around 12midnight. It is either weimeng and phek joo or edmond will come out to toast a bread, then the rest will followed and we will sit there to finish our bread/milo/coffee/kebab, while 'blow water'. The next time will be in malaysia i think.

Come and Flirt

Confidence is the key of attraction to a certain extent. It is important to stay confident to potray how you actually carry yourself infront of your friends and in public.

Have your heard about the game called Ultimate Flirting Championship?

The game is organized by Extreme Style by VO5. It is a rather fun game guys. You get to choose a gender and wait for another 2 people to online to join your room. While waiting for other people to join, you will be taught some flirting tips. I found these two here very interesting.

Flirt tip 94 - Say the other person name alot. Make sure you know the correct name!

Flirt tip 65 - When you have nothing to say to your partner, pretend saying something that is exotic, such as icelantic!

Then, you will be brought into a three person chatting room - and it is therfore so called 'threesome'! :P

Next, you get to choose the avatar of your character. My first pick was a female character. Got into a room with another 2 guys. I get to pick 5 questions for them to answer. Each of them require to type an answer and i choose the best answer.

Eventually, you get to choose who to be the winner, and that is the time i got my Victory Hair. Thus, the winner and you will then enter a personal chatting room for more flirting session. haha! Unfortunately, the guy left right after the game.

If you are too free and would like to flirt around, then go ahead and play it!

Chicky is set to go

INTRODUCE to you my new router - DIR 300, from DLink.

Finally, both my lou poh and i are able to go online, at the same time, using the university's connection with this piece of router.

It was not hard to gather all the pieces and put them up. You see?

But the setting up took me a hard time. There is this quick installation CD but it didnt work. In the end, i seek help from customer service from Dlink website, and the response was fast - i received a step-by-step guide from them the next day! Efficient betul man!

I managed to connect to the router on one comp. Set up an access point. A wireless network, namely, chicky is ready to be used! Why chicky? cos Chicky is one of my nick! :p

However, it was not that simple. You can connect to the wireless network but not the internet. After a wee chat with edmond, some hints entered my mind.

So this morning, i spent almost another 2 hours to figure it out. For each computer that connects to the wireless network, you need to access the router website as well.

So how far can my wireless signal go? How strong?

Well, not really too sure, but i guess anyone in block G should be able to see if they on their wireless. How about block H? Shouldnt be a problem also. The speed is standard - 54mbps, the closer, the strongest.

So anyone who still staying in JBC and needs an internet connection, try chicky - but be sure to get the access point password from me first okay? :)

Zenni optical

Some of the beautiful frames there really attracts me to look at them again and again!

Baking recipe : Rock buns with raisins

Lately, Ms. Cho's baking is partially initiated by yieng's muffin baking. Of course, not to forget that she loves to bake and let his beloved to try them before anyone else does. Not only that, her baking initiation is very sudden and yet it is fruitful - she was sitting there and browsing her pp3 notes like everyone else does, then out of a sudden, she walked into the kitchen and start baking just like that, after 2 hours - her products will be ready to be served.

One evening, she baked rock buns.

Ingredients :

1) 80g margarine
2) 80g sugar
3) Pinch of salt
4) 80g raisins
5) 1 egg
6) 1 tsp milk
7) Vanilla (optional)
8) 200g plain flour
9) 1 tsp baking powder

Procedures :

1) Mix well the flour and margarine.
2) Add in sugar and raisins
3) Whisk eggs and add into mixture. Stir and add in milk
4) Shape into balls using fork and spoon.
5) Grease baking trays and bake at 160degree celcius for 15 mins.

They should look something like this when they are ready to be served :

As the name stated - Rock buns are rather hard in texture, you can easily taste butter and raisins in them.

And for dessert lovers, try this - A few scoops of ice-cream plus some strawberries, they go really well together with rock buns cookies!

p/s : The entire recipe belongs to cho's family!

Baking with Cho's :

8 days have passed since my Graduation day. I still didnt write my graduation post as i promised to. Anyway, thanks to xinhui who requested me to download the graduation video for her - i watched our graduation video today. Each of us was on stage for not longer than 5 secs. Lolz.

You can watch them here.

Unfortunately, the video cannot be downloaded. I have managed to 'steal' the file down from temporary internet file, and it is in .smi file. I have uploaded the file here. Happy graduation everyone, once again! :)

Vacuum with Dirt Devil

Our house's Henry is not in a good condition. He stinks and he smells when we use him! However, i still see my housmates use him to vacuum from time to time to keep the room clean. We tried to channge a new one from the village office but our request were rejected. We were told to change the vacuum bag and we did try. However, the vacuum is still stink. In the end, we went on borrowing vacuum cleaner from our friends to do the cleaning. What would you do then? I know there are so many of you out there who uses 'lazy' as an excuse to not vacuum your room weekly. It is rather tiring to carry the whole piece of vacuum cleaner from the living room, plug it in, switch it on, and start vacuuming, and finally to unplug and keep everything back.

How about using a cordless vacuum cleaner, plus avoiding to spend unnecessary energy on vacuuming? Dirt Devil introduces the first cordless vacuum to earn Energy Star approval. It is very user friendly, light and easily moveable. Since it is cordless, you can vacuum more easily without the long cable blocking your way! It has shown to be effective in cleaning, yet saving up to 70% more energy compare to the conventional vacuum cleaner.

An outing for the 4 of us

The weather isnt with us today. The weather has been good all day round when i went out to drop my c.v. It started with dizzling when we first decided to leave jbc and it followed with moderate rain. We have no choice but to take some shelter near queenstreet station.

After about 10mins of waiting, the rain got smaller and we proceed our way to our destination - The Mussel Inn.

We ordered 3 x 1/2 kilos of mussels, with morrocan, blue cheese and shallots flavors, and also a seafood plater to be shared by the 4 of us :

The 2 of us here :

And the 2 of them over there :

And the all 4 of us together :

It was still drizzling when we left mussel inn. We were lucky to see rainbow over the building with clock near one buchanan street junction. And of course, we stopped and snapped a few shots before we proceed on to our next destination.

As initially planned, we proceed on to Gala Casino - To grab at least 5 pounds each and to enjoy some free flow of cocktails as a newly registered member.

Everything just went on smooth and nice as planned. In Gala, everything was F.A.S.T!!!

The registration was FAST! It only takes you less than 3 minutes to fill in your personal details. Malaysian driving license or passport is valid for age verification. After registration, immediately, i was given a member card and a 10 pounds roulette voucher.

Then we proceed on to the gambling area at the basement. I can say that it was quite normal last night. At least, you see some people playing at each table. Blackjack, pokers, texas or roulette. Initially, i was told that it was really quiet even during a busy friday night.

After wandering around for quite sometime, looking at how people place their bet, finally we proceed forward to place our bet with our 40 pounds of vouchers. In the end, we won some chips which are to be changed into real money later on. I bet many of you already figure out the way to get the 'confirmed 5 pounds' from Gala. :P

We were told that we can get complimentary cocktails FOC also. So, we went on and ordered one cocktail each and snapped some shots INSIDE the casino before we leave.

Loupoh's Ladyluck which cost freaking 6.75 pounds! Tasted not bad though.

The very leng zai bartender doing his job :)

My lemonade jack daniels.

The rest are some final shots before we leave Gala Casino, with smile :)

Gala Casino, GG-ied.

The perfect british holidays

It's the summer holidays now yet i'm still having university classes! How i long for a summer break away from glasgow, away from the city to enjoy the sun during the 3 month summer season instead of attending the dreadful classes. For those who have made their summer holidays booking ealier, kudos to them, they must have paid a reasonable sum for their trip. However, for those who haven't made any bookings, fret not. How about having a nice relaxing trip at the Holiday Cottage Cornwall, without having to pay an enormous sum of money albeit having made a late booking? Not only does this trip cater for partners on a date, it is also for those of you out there who are seeking for a holiday at the beach with your family, walking around the coastal footpath, enjoying the sea breeze. If a weekend break is all you could afford, Cornwall should also be your choice of a summer holiday destination for your weekend getaway!

Cornwall is located at the south of the United Kingdom mainland. It is a great choice for those of you who are seeking for a nice short holidays at the beach during this summer holidays! Take it as a choice!

Need a job desperately

It is my 600th post!

Made myself to the cal lab to print another 15 copies of C.V. (Curriculum Vitae).

Went online to Subway.co.uk once again and tried my luck by submitting my application to the top 10 nearest subway store to jbc.

Tried my luck in glasgford street, Argyle street, St. Enoch and made my way back to jbc when my stomach wasnt feeling too good.

Spent at least 20 minutes filling in the application forms in Peckhams's in Glasford street. Was given a name card from McD and Sportdirects. Nowadays, you dont have to go out for a walk-in interviews, instead, you can sit relaxing and apply online at home!

Too lazy to work for BA until wednesday.

Any good way to earn money besides waiting? Gala casino, here we go? haha.

Nine years ago, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was the undisputed Prime Minister-in-waiting too, before he was sacked by his former boss Tun (then Datuk Seri) Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who accused him of sexual misconduct and abuse of power.

Last Saturday, a new party volunteer Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, 23, filed a police report claiming Anwar had sexually violated him on several occasions.

Today, he stood up in the public to seek for revenge.

He claimed that he was arrested and beaten up by IGP Tan Sri Rahim Noor before being charged and jailed.

July 3 - KUALA LUMPUR: PKR’s plan to make Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim Prime Minister by Sept 16 is still on track, said the party's vice-president Azmin Ali.

The short few days with family

As i have said, I have been extremely B>U>S>Y in the past few days.

Okay here is what we actually did in London :

1) I went to london last friday to meet my parents. After one whole year of not seeing each other, i feel really great to see them once again. Nothing much has change - my dad is still like that, my mum is still the same but my ah ma claimed that she has lost 7kgs and my bro look very dark now. In addition, i met my granny today!

2) We went around London city solely by walking and metro tube. Can you imagine bringing one 76 year old granny and one 72 year old ah ma together with you, walking up and down several hundreds of staircase steps in one day? We did it. I feel very bad to make them to walk so much. At the same time, i feel very proud of them!

3) We went to tower bridge, tower of london, london eye, big ben and the parliment places, london bridge, china town in less than one day.

4) This is a must go place in china town for food. It is cheap and nice!

5) One bad comment that i have is that the people in london have bad attitude towards the cleanliness in the metro tube. Is it very common to see almost EVERYONE to leave their newspapers in the tube.

6) We then took a bus from victoria bus station to london stansted airport and reached glasgow at 12.30am on saturday.

7) It was finally my graduation day then. More updates coming up next.

8) And we went to O'neils for dinner that night.

9) And its finally time to say bye bye to my family on tuesday. I sent them off to board a bus to glasgow international airport at George Square.

Good bye papa, mama, ah ma, granny and bro! cyaz soon when i go home!

A quick update

I have been extremely B>U>S>Y in the past few days.

Okay here is what i did :

1) Friday - Went to London to meet my parents, ah ma, granny and bro. Bring them tour around london for one day and came back to glasgow saturday midnight.

2) Sunday - Went around glasgow. Cook lunch and dinner for parents. Busy preparing for graduation.

3) Monday - Its GRADUATION DAY. Gona blog very detail about it for sure.

4) Tuesday - Went to shop for souvenirs last minute. Sent my parents home. Watch wanted.

5) Today - Slept for more than 8 hours last night. Still trying to catch up what i have missed to do in the past few days.
